One of Sea Cliff’s iconic Victorian homes just hit the real estate market. It’s a five-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home built in 1904 that the listing says is in “superb” condition.

The 12-room home has two fireplaces, front and rear parlors, and a cloakroom. Terry Sciubba of Sherlock Homes Realty says the home was reportedly built as a manse for the minister of a local church and the cloakroom accommodated his many vestments. The image on the front door window of a mitre is further evidence of the home’s early association with the church.

Among other rooms, the current owners renovated the kitchen and bathrooms (and went high-end in the kitchen with Christopher Peacock cabinetry). The copper roofing is new, and the enormous wraparound porch is waiting for someone to lounge in a wicker chaise this summer and sip lemonade.

The home is listed at $1,749,000 and property taxes (including Sea Cliff village) are $20,103.
