Sources: Tory Burch involved in Westerly deal

Seems designer Tory Burch has designs on another property in Southampton. Details are sketchy, but real estate sources say that Burch is one of the persons involved in a deal to purchase the Westerly estate owned by late attorney Howard Gittis. The property is currently listed for $45 million with Tim Davis of The Corcoran Group.
The Westerly estate features a 25-room brick Georgian Revival home built in 1929, a carriage house, tennis court, indoor pool, and outdoor pool with pavilion. The property spans over 15 acres, with subdivision potential, making it, “an exceptional opportunity for a user or investor,” according to the listing. Burch, who also owns an oceanfront property in Southampton, could not be reached for comment.
