Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes camp out on the North Fork

Long Island’s been awash in celebrity royalty lately. First we had Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie renting on Centre Island. Now it’s Tom Cruise and wife, Katie Holmes, on the North Fork.
Local newspapers and celebrity fansites have been buzzing the past two weeks about Tom and Katie spottings in Southold, Greenport and East Marion. Katie Holmes has been filming scenes for her new movie, “The Romantics” co-starring Adam Brody, and a real estate source tells Newsday that she is renting a home in East Marion during her stay out East. Katie’s husband, Tom Cruise, has been filmed jogging along Route 25 during a visit with his wife, who reportedy gets her moring caffeine fix at the Starbucks on Front Street in Greenport.
According to the celebrity fansite Justjared.com, Katie viewed four properties in East Marion before settling on her temporary digs, a private home hidden from the road. The rest of the cast is reportedly holed up at a hotel and spa in Greenport.
