Following a career in advertising as a media buyer working for several New York ad agencies, Lisa Doll Bruno joined Newsday in 1988. She spent most of her time — about 16 years — working in the business editorial department as a researcher and writing about careers for the “Job Hunt” column.

Lisa’s husband, Dan, knows a thing or two about real estate too as the couple have had the experience of buying and selling second homes.
