Those who might go to one March 2 open house in Oyster Bay may want to think long and hard about their questions: The 1 to 8 p.m. event at the Mediterranean-style home at 15 Locust Lane will feature psychic readings.

Deborah Gutheil of Angels on Main in Sayville, one of the intuitive readers who will be on hand, says she already has a good feeling about the five-bedroom, 2-1/2-bathroom house, which is on the market for $829,000. “I’m hearing things are going to move quickly,” she says.

So take a look before it goes.

Custom-built in 1914, the current owners have been renovating the 2,027-square-foot home since they purchased it in 2008. Listing agent Marc Weicman of Realty Connect USA notes that the house has unique features, including a 20-foot entrance foyer with five antique stained-glass windows and spoon-carved molding with walls of slate that soar to the top of the cherrywood paneled ceiling.

There are custom tin ceilings in a few rooms, including the kitchen. Wood floors, Travertine and radiant heat floors are throughout. There is also a second-floor deck, constructed with a radiant heat Travertine floor and a pergola covered by Plexiglas.

If you check out the open house, remember that readings are for entertainment purposes only. “Trust your own intuition,” Weicman says.
