The Stratford Green condominium complex was built in 1989 and consists of 80 units and a tennis court. The Heubishes have owned their two-bedroom, 1½-bathroom town house since 2007. The corner unit, with 1,532 square feet of living space, features a wood-burning fireplace and a recently installed heating system. Michelle talks about the appeal of the condominium:

“The thing I really love about living here is there are no troubles. We don’t own a rake or a snow shovel. The maintenance company clears the snow right up to our door . . . We have great neighbors and can walk everywhere. We’re within walking distance to the train station and can be in Penn Station in less than an hour . . .

"We have a lot of closet space and a huge attic with pull-down stairs . . . We put in a new kitchen about a year ago and a new bathroom [just before that] . . . It’s a corner unit so we have even more privacy.

"We have a lot of light that comes in because of a lot of windows . . . and a back deck off the living room and dining area . . . We have Pergo floors throughout. It’s really like a house, but you don’t have worry about the outside . . ."
