The Sabatinis have owned their upper-level, two-bedroom, two-bath condominium in Willow Ponds since 2004. Willow Ponds is a 75-acre, 222-unit complex on Long Island Sound. Jeff shared his thoughts on the condo and the appeal of the community:
"We’ve run out of room with our little guy, so we’ve purchased a home on the other side of Sound Avenue. We love the North Fork . . . The complex owns private beach space on the Sound . . . the beach rights, the community and the amenities that come with living out here . . . are the top features.
"When we bought the home, there were a lot of upgrades already. There are tray ceilings and vaulted ceilings throughout the unit. The great room has 12-foot and 10-foot ceilings. We put granite in the bathrooms and upgraded the vanities. What we like about the upper corner unit is there’s so much light. We have a gas fireplace, upgraded ceramic tile floors. There are hardwood floors in the great room . . . ceiling fans throughout the unit. The kitchen has upgraded stainless-steel appliances. There are two tennis courts, a clubhouse with a gym, a heated pool. The homeowners association is putting in a gate at the entrance. [We have] great neighbors, everyone’s friendly, everyone waves . . ."
