In April 2013, former New York Met slugger Carlos Beltran re-listed his Sands Point mansion for $5.495 million. Originally on the market in February 2012, Beltran went with a new brokerage, Douglas Elliman Real Estate, and trimmed $305,000 off the initial $5.8 million asking price.

Former Met Carlos Beltran is back up at bat in the game to sell hisSands Point mansion. Beltran, who is now a St. Louis Cardinalsoutfielder, has resisted the seven-bedroom, six-and-two-half-bath, 7,500-square-foot home for $5.495million. It is also being marketed by a new agency, Douglas EllimanReal Estate. The home boasts a sports bar, a theater, a gym and a pool room. The house was initially listed in February 2012 for $5.8 million.
