YoHo unveils new studios for artists in Yonkers

Public figures, artists and their supporters showed up for the grand opening of the new fourth-floor wing, adding 10,000 square feet of usable space, at YoHo Artist Studios in the old Alexander Smith Carpet Mills building at 578 Nepperhan Ave. in Yonkers. The addition, which cost $500,000 and includes 25 new studios for artists, was unveiled in advance of the 10th annual Open Studios event from noon to 5 p.m. April 20 and 21. (April 17, 2013)
