A Kingston man was arrested Friday for selling cocaine in the City of Kingston and the nearby Town of Ulster, police said Saturday.

After receiving tips about drug sales from neighbors in the area, the Kingston Police Department's Special Investigations Unit began a probe into 39-year-old Clayton Greene's activities about a month ago, police said.

On Friday, detectives ended the investigation when they took Greene into custody on Orlando Street in Ulster. Greene was charged with four counts each of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felonies.
