Glauber: Goodell takes on NFL concussions
The NFL took several important steps this week in addressing a problem that has dogged the league throughout its history.
Commissioner Roger Goodell took direct aim at the thorny issue of concussions, an injury that has affected such prominent players as running backs Brian Westbrook and Clinton Portis and quarterbacks Ben Roethlisberger and Kurt Warner.
