Jaguars' Garrard fighting against Crohn's disease
David Garrard thought it was a case of food poisoning, and shrugged it off the way he would a nagging injury on the football field.
"I sat in the same chair for two days straight," the Jaguars quarterback said of the episode in January 2004. "I was having the chills, vomiting, and every 30 seconds, there'd be this bubbling up from my stomach. It felt like gas pains, only 20 times worse."
