Bedford Garden Club to host program on trees in aftermath of Sandy

Branch Out!, a tree-planting project of the Bedford Garden Club, will present a symposium on tree health in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy at 7 p.m. Jan. 17 at the Historical Hall, 608 Old Post Rd., Bedford Village.

Tree experts will provide direction on whether to clear or replant in the wake of tree loss, and discuss the best strategies for saving and maintaining trees and preventing further damage.

The cost is $5 at the door.
