Now is the time to thank the 2,679 people who queued up for hours in front of the Farmingville Fire Department to register as potential bone marrow donors to help one little girl on Sunday. They came to be tested although most of them had never met her.
That would make 2,679 late additions to what began last week as a list of 2,009 people we want to thank for Thanksgiving...
