Harvest Gold and Avacado Green appliances, introduced by General Electric in the late '60s, brought organic colors into the kitchen. "The colors came from dinnerware designer Russel Wright and Mary Wright, who brough nature into the house," says Amy Kraker, a Port Washington retailer of vintage kitchenware.
