Police reports from Cold Spring Harbor, Commack and Dix Hills

Cold Spring Harbor

A digital projector was stolen yesterday from a classroom at the Cold Spring High School on Turkey Lane.

Commack

A purse with a wallet with credit cards in it was stolen yesterday at Amici's Restaurant on Route 25.

Dix Hills

A passenger-side window was broken yesterday on a car on Firelight Court and a purse with credit cards in it was taken. The owner said she was told that the cards had already been used when she reported them stolen.

Police reported that a woman was arrested yesterday after she tried to purchase some items from the Best Buy store on East Jericho Turnpike using stolen credit card.
