Police reports from Dix Hills, East Northport, Elwood and Huntington

Dix Hills
Police reported that someone drove across the Otsego Park Little League field and damaged the grass May 2.
Neighbors on Heller Court said their cars, a 2008 Porsche and a 2001 Ford, were broken into May 3 and items were stolen including an iPod, credit cards and a briefcase.
East Northport
A bicycle was stolen May 2 from outside an apartment door on Laurel Avenue.
Elwood
The owner of a 1996 Dodge said someone tried to steal his car May 4. The man told police he found a door pried open and the ignition damaged.
Huntington
Plants were stolen May 2 from the Goldberg & Rodler Nursery on East Main Street.
The mirror was broken on a 2001 Pontiac in a parking lot on New York Avenue May 4.
Huntington Station
The catalytic converter was stolen May 2 from a car owned by Majestic Windows on East Jericho Turnpike.
A burglary was discovered May 3 at the Kennedy Fried Chicken store on Depot Road. The police report said the glass was broken in the front door and money was taken from the cash register.
The window was broken May 4 on a 2002 Nissan at the Huntington Indoor Tennis Club on Broadway and the navigation system was stolen.
All the windows on a 2001 Toyota were found broken May 5 on East 5th Street.
