  • A car was found vandalized Saturday on Fairfield Way. The owner told police the auto was keyed and the air was let out of the tires.

  • Police received a call Saturday that someone saw a man break the driver-side window on a car in a parking lot on Commack Road.

  • Dix Hills

  • A burglary was discovered Sunday at the Carvel store on East Jericho Turnpike. There was money taken from the cash register. According to the police report the thieves tried to enter the Gold Line Design store next to the Carvel first but couldn't break through a wall. They then got into the ceiling of the connecting building and entered the ice cream store.

  • A 32-inch Toshiba television was stolen Saturday from the PC Richards store on Jericho Turnpike.

    Fort Salonga

  • The owner of Cosimo Volpe Landscaping said one of their trucks was stolen Friday on Townline Road.

    Huntington Station

  • The owner of a 1993 Ford Aerostar said the car was stolen Friday on Depot Road.

  • A man on the corner of Melville Road and Bogart Street told police he was robbed at gunpoint Saturday. He said all his money was taken.
