Commack
A Hubbell Street resident told police she saw a black SUV hit her fence April 26.
Dix Hills
Vandals broke the light post at a house on Athena Court April 25.
Fort Salonga
A Mountain View Drive resident said his family's cars were vandalized and a cell phone was stolen from one of them April 25.
Halesite
A burglary was discovered April 26 at a house on East Shore Road. The police report said entry was made through a window and a chandelier was taken.
Huntington Station
A resident on East 8th Street told police he saw a group of youths break the windows on a vacant house on his street April 25.
The license plates were reported stolen April 25 from a car on West Pulaski Road.
A man on Columbia Street told police he was assaulted and robbed April 27.
A television and jewelry were taken during a burglary April 27 at a house on New York Avenue. The police report said entry was made through a second-floor window.
Police reported that a man was shot in the back during a burglary April 27 at his house on Lenox Road. They said three men kicked in the kitchen door and took $50 before shooting the man. There was another man in the house at the time of the invasion but he managed to escape without injury.
The owner of a 1995 Pathfinder said it was stolen April 27 on Depot Road.
Northport
The owner of Aunt Chilad's Mexican Grill on Fort Salonga Road said someone broke the front window April 25.
