Police reports from Dix Hills, Huntington Station and Melville

Dix Hills

An attempted burglary was discovered yesterday at a house on Half Hollow Road.

Huntington Station

Homeowners on Prospect Drive North and South reported burglaries yesterday. The first resident said a computer and jewelry were taken. Entry was made through the front door. There was no information on what was taken at the other house but the police report said entry was made through a sliding glass door.

Melville

Items were reported stolen yesterday from a trailer at the Claire Rose building on Pinelawn Road.
