Dix Hills

A car was broken into April 29 in a parking lot on Vanderbilt Parkway and a purse was stolen.

Huntington

A Newsday driver discovered a burglary at the South Down Deli on Wall Street on April 29. The police report said the glass in the door was broken to gain entry and money and cigarettes were taken.

The front window was found broken on the North Country Village Deli on East Main Street April 29. The police report did not indicate that there was a burglary.

Vandals broke a rear window on a car on Spring Road April 29.
