Three people in the Huntington area were charged Saturday with selling alcohol to a minor, and two people for acting as a security guard without a license, police said.
State Liquor Authority inspections were conducted by Suffolk County police officers and representatives of the Huntington Town Fire Marshall's Office at Mary Carrolls, 1 Clinton Ave., Huntington, and at Four Restaurant, 515 Broadhollow Rd., Melville, in response to community complaints.
Police said that Christopher Dellisola, 22, of 1085 Carl Dr., Bay Shore, and William Boyle, 39, of 9 Oak Neck Rd., West Islip were arrested at Mary Carroll's and charged with selling alcohol to a minor, and that Patrick Martin, 36, of 79 Prime Ave., Huntington, and Kenneth Hirsch, 32, of 12 Poppy Lane, Levittown, were charged with acting as a security guard there without a license.
The fire marshall cited Mary Carroll's with various fire code violations, including overcrowding, according to police.
At Four Restaurant, Michael Casale, 30, of 574 Plainview Rd., Plainview, was charged with selling alcohol to a minor, and the fire marshall cited the establishment for various code violations, police said.
