Cops: Man shot near Huntington LIRR station

The incident happened just after 7:30 p.m. on Rail Road Street.

HUNTINGTON - Police say a 27-year-old was shot in the leg and chest near a Long Island Rail Road stop in Huntington Station.

The incident happened just after 7:30 p.m. on Rail Road Street.

Police say the man is expected to survive.

There is no word on any arrests this morning.
