An Ulster County woman was driving despite 16 license suspensions, according to Kingston police, who stopped her early Saturday morning for speeding.

Cops said Jamie Gardecki, a 24-year-old Lake Katrine woman, was speeding near the intersection of Foxhall and Flatbush avenues in Kingston when they stopped her at 8:25 a.m.

When officers ran Gardecki's license information, they learned her driving privileges had been revoked for failing to respond to 16 different traffic violations.

Gardecki was arraigned and sent to Ulster County Jail in lieu of $500 bail, where she remained Saturday. An attorney for Gardecki could not be located Saturday.
