A Yonkers woman was assaulted with a knife by another woman early Sunday morning, police told News12.
The fight broke out just after midnight after some words were exchanged between two women at a grocery store at 45 Palisades Ave., store employees said. The store was left in a mess, with some shelves emptied and beer bottles smashed, store employee Jimmy Shamsam told News12.
Police did not identify the combatants or have details about the victim's condition Sunday morning, but Shamsam said both women were taken to an area hospital last night.
