A Queens man who was apparently under the influence of several drugs, including an anesthetic that causes hallucinations, was arrested after he was found wandering around a Tarrytown hotel, police said.

Valerio Massaro, 41, was arrested just after 3 a.m. Sunday at the Double Tree hotel on South Broadway, Tarrytown police Lt. William Herguth said. At the time of his arrest, Massaro had several drugs in his possession, Herguth said, including oxycodone and Ketamine, an anesthetic drug that can cause hallucinations.

It was not clear why Massaro was at the hotel. He was not harassing guests, but he was "acting irate and at times disoriented," Herguth said.

Massaro was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a felony, police said, and is being held without bail at the Westchester County Jail. His next court date is Wednesday.

Massaro is being represented by the Legal Aid Society of Westchester County, though an attorney has not yet been assigned.
