For the divas portion of the night, Candice Glover boldly goes where no other woman on the show probably could: a Mariah Carey/Whitney Houston duet, "When You Believe." She doesn't skip a beat. Glover (obviously) doesn't outdo them, but more importantly, she doesn't try to. It's beautiful.

Fittingly, Janelle Arthur does Dolly Parton's "Dumb Blonde." (That's not to say she is one -- But her selection of Parton's you-think-I-can't-well-just-watch-me song sends the message Arthur needs to convey at this point in the competition.) Does it measure up? "Vocally it didn't show anything different, but it was a fun song for you," Randy Jackson says. He's right. Nicki Minaj says Arthur may be going home Thursday. She could be right too.

Kree Harrison takes on Celine Dion's "Have You Ever Been In Love," which Carey calls "a smart choice." It's truly a departure from the contestant's twangy country style, which the judges agree gives her versatility that will carry her in the competition, as well as her career. "Worldly, not country" is what Minaj calls it. Even if she loses (to Candice Glover, because, let's be real, she won't lose to anyone else), Harrison seems to have cemented herself as a successful professional with this song.

Who do you think is the next 'American Idol'?
