A week after Kevin Hart headlines on Aug. 28, the laughs will continue as Nikon at Jones Beach Theater expands beyond music with the third annual Oddball Comedy and Curiosity Festival, presented by Funny or Die, on Sept. 4.
Comedian Amy Schumer, who grew up in Rockville Centre and stars in the upcoming Judd Apatow romantic comedy, "Trainwreck" (opening July 17), is listed as a "very special guest" alongside headliner Aziz Ansari, who's fresh off selling out Madison Square Garden. Both were highlights of last year's Oddball tour.
The 18-city tour, which begins Aug. 28 in Kansas City, Missouri, and ends Oct. 18 in Dallas, will also feature other stand-up comics, including Anthony Jeselnik, Ashley Barnhill, Bridget Everett, Dave Attell, Jay Pharoah, Jeff Ross, Jim Norton, John Mulaney, Michael Che, Nick Kroll, Nick Thune, Nikki Glaser, Rachel Feinstein, Rory Scovel, Sebastian Maniscalco, Tim Minchin, T.J. Miller, and Todd Barry.
Pre-sale tickets begin Wednesday for previous purchasers and VIP packages then Thursday for Live Nation mobile app and Ticketmaster. Tickets for the general public go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday at livenation.com.
