Beyoncé will always remember the Australian teen who idolized her. After hearing that fan Chelsea Lee James, 15, whom Beyoncé invited to join her on stage for "Halo" in a 2009 concert, had died from cancer April 21, the singer sent her family a heartfelt message.

"Love and prayers to you and your family. Chelsea was a beautiful girl and I am so happy I was able to meet her. She touched my heart and I will never forget her," Beyoncé wrote.

Chelsea's family posted a photo on Facebook of the 90 white roses that accompanied Beyoncé's note.

The singer and Chelsea met again in November when Beyoncé returned to Australia for her "Mrs. Carter World Tour." The two embraced and chatted backstage like old friends before taking photos together.
