Following her sudden breakup with boyfriend David Lucado, singer Britney Spears has continued with her ongoing concert series at The Axis theater in Las Vegas' Planet Hollywood hotel-casino.

Spears, 32, went on with her revue, "Piece of Me," in the wake of's report Thursday that she had dumped her beau of 18 months after her father, Jamie Spears, showed her a video he had uncovered and purchased of Lucado being romantic with another woman.

Lucado's representative told TMZ, "David is very, very in love with Britney. This is unfortunate and he hopes that it all works out."

The singer herself had appeared to confirm a breakup when she tweeted that day, "Ahhhh the single life!" Soon afterward she posted a video on Instagram talking about being cheered up after a bad day.

E! News said Spears appeared upbeat and unaffected during Thursday night's show. Sunday's was nearly sold out as of Sunday evening Eastern Time, and tickets were being sold for her four previously scheduled shows this month: Sept. 3, 5, 6 and 10. She resumes her residency on Oct. 4.
