On March 10, 2015, a federal jury in Los Angeles ruled that singer Robin Thicke, far right, and producer Pharrell Williams, center, had committed copyright infringement by copying elements of Marvin Gaye's 1977 hit "Got to Give It Up," to create their 2013 chart-topping single "Blurred Lines."
