Celebrity happenings for 2014
With the dropping of the New Year's ball, here's a look at what's coming up in 2014 for many of our favorite celebrities:
LINDSAY GETS REAL. Talking about OWNing your image: Actress Lindsay Lohan, raised in Merrick and Cold Spring Harbor and now living in Manhattan, is the subject of an eight-part nonfiction series airing later this year on OWN. Documentary filmmaker Amy Rice (2009's "By the People: The Election of Barack Obama") was behind the camera.
MILEY MARKER. Uniondale is set to become Twerkville on April 24, as Miley Cyrus brings her Bangerz tour to Nassau Coliseum. If you can't wait, she'll also be at New Jersey's Izod Center on April 3 and Brooklyn's Barclays Center on April 5.
OZ, THE ROYAL AND TOURISTY. Everyone's favorite royals, Prince William and Kate Middleton, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, will be visiting Australia and New Zealand in April and likely taking infant Prince George.
WE STOP BELIEVIN'. Justin Bieber may have been joking about retiring, but given how his new concert movie "Believe" has bombed, and our general disgust at his puerile antics, maybe retirement isn't such a bad idea. (His manager has said that Bieber will be taking off 2014 from touring.)
KIMYE. Where there's an engagement, there's likely a wedding. One can only speculate what the nuptials might involve -- what might possibly top Kanye West's proposal to Kim Kardashian at San Francisco's AT&T Park?
