UPDATE: TMZ.com on Thursday reported that Chris Brown has indeed made financial arrangements with the mother of his 9-month-old daughter.

Chris Brown's girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, says she has no plans to be involved with the 9-month-old child that the singer reportedly fathered with a friend.

"Listen. One can only take so much," she tweeted Wednesday. "Best of luck to Chris and his family. No baby drama for me."

TMZ.com had reported earlier that Brown, 25, had a baby daughter with a 31-year-old Texas friend named Nia -- identified as sometime-model Nia Gonzalez by GossipCop.com and others -- whom he has known for several years. The couple is not romantically involved. No formal child-support plan is in place, TMZ said, adding that it did not know whether any informal support was set.

Brown's representatives did not respond to a Newsday request for comment.

After the initial report, Instagram photos posted May 26, 2013, by rapper Kid Red surfaced showing Gonzalez, model-actress Tran and singer-actress Christina Milian enjoying themselves at a Las Vegas party. Brown appeared as a guest on the Kid Red single "Fool Wit It."

However, E! Online on Wednesday displayed what it said was a since-deleted Tran tweet from Feb. 27, reading, "Y'all know a Nia?"

Tran -- whom Brown has dated on-and-off since 2011 -- and Gonzalez each have a page at the website ModelMayhem.com, which matches models with photographers. Gonzalez, who has a distinctive full-back tattoo, is listed under the professional name Nia Amey. As simply "Nia," she appears in the 2011 music video for Phill Wade's "Dreams Of You."

Brown and Tran's last public breakup and makeup came when Brown announced at a Dec. 5 concert in Los Angeles that he was now single, adding an expletive-filled adios to an unspecified ex. Tran responded in a tweet, herself. "[Expletive]s be in they feelings when you break up with them lol," implying that she had been the one to leave the singer. Shortly after, he apologized in an Instagram post, and on Christmas Day Tran tweeted an image of two large diamond rings -- sparking rumors of an engagement though she wore them on her right hand instead of the left as is tradition. That image has since been deleted.
