Chris Brown, you told Matt Lauer on "Today" that you know that assaulting Rihanna was "totally wrong" and that you will never hit her again. It was exactly what your fans and people who are not your fans needed to hear. It was incredibly important for the world to hear that you have accepted responsibility for that terrible Feb. 9, 2009, night, when you lost control of your temper and assaulted Rihanna. When you spoke to Matt, you made no attempt to excuse your actions in any way and that was very good.
