The official autopsy results for Corey Haim have not been released, but his mother says the coroner called her to say he died of pulmonary congestion, People magazine reports.

In an interview with "Access Hollywood," Judy Haim says the autopsy conducted yesterday found her son's lungs were filled with water and that he had an enlarged heart.

Shortly before his death Wednesday at age 38, Haim complained of flulike symptoms and had a high fever.

The coroner's office is not expected to release an official cause of death until toxicology tests are complete, which could take weeks.

The coroner's office did confirm that prescription vials containing four different medications, including Valium and Vicodin, were taken from Haim's room.

Judy Haim lived with her son in his Los Angeles apartment, and saw him stumble, struggle to breath and collapse, prompting her to call 911, according to Us Weekly.
