Did Taylor Swift, Conor Kennedy crash family wedding?
Did Taylor Swift and Conor Kennedy pull a "Wedding Crashers" maneuver, sneaking into the reception of one of his cousins?
The answer depends on whom you ask.
What's not in dispute is that the country singer and her boyfriend showed up at the Fairmont Copley Plaza hotel in Boston for the wedding reception of Kyle Kennedy and her bridegroom, Liam Kerr, on Saturday.

The mother of the bride, Victoria Gifford Kennedy, told the Boston Herald that Swift and her boyfriend sneaked into the reception without her permission.
"They texted me an hour before the wedding and asked if they could come,” the matriarch said. “I responded with a very clear, ‘Please do not come.’ They came anyway."
The awkwardness didn't end there, according to Gifford Kennedy.
"I personally went up to Ms. Swift, whose entrance distracted the entire event, politely introduced myself to her, and asked her as nicely as I could to leave. It was like talking to a ghost. She seemed to look right past me.”
But Paula Erickson, a spokeswoman for Swift, told the Herald that Kyle Kennedy welcomed the new couple as guests: "Taylor was invited to the wedding, and the bride thanked her profusely for being there."
It's been a very high-profile week for Swift. A day after the couple's wild wedding cameo, the two made a far more solemn and private apperance at the Cape Cod grave of Conor's mother, Mary Kennedy, whose Bedford estate now belongs to him. And, today, Reuters reports that Swift's new single, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," broke a digital sales record, selling more than 623,000 downloads after its release last week.
