Ed Sheeran and Ellie Goulding raised eyebrows after cameras caught the British twosome holding hands at the Video Music Awards Aug. 25. Ed now confirms that it was more than just friendly hand-holding. "I mean, normal people don't hold hands if they're just friends," the singer-song writer told Washington radio station Click 98.9 during a recent interview. But don't think these two are in it for the long haul. Ed later revealed that the two have since parted ways. "It was going on. And now it's not," he admits. On or not, Ed only had kind words for the British songstress. "She's a really cool girl and she's very talented," he continued. "She's had a No. 1 single for three weeks in England now. It's all going well." Pretty safe to say Ed might just be the perfect ex.
