Elton John recovering from flu, E. coli
The musician, 62, is said to be receiving treatment in a London hospital for E. coli bacteria infection and influenza and has postponed the shows set for Seattle and Portland, Ore.
According to his official Web site, John also postponed a Dublin performance last week after earlier canceling concerts in London, Liverpool, Sheffield and Newcastle.
The tour has been put on hold before: In July, Joel was ordered to rest after suffering "flu-like symptoms."
The Pacific Northwest concerts are to be rescheduled for December, promoters said.
