Yes, those Golden Records from the late 1940s to the '60s are back -- reimagined for the new generation of tykes and the parents who love them with stars from this era. The 21 songs and stories include recordings of Ed Asner ("The Little Engine That Could"), Alicia Silverstone ("Rapunzel") and Susan Sarandon ("Jack and the Beanstalk").

Producer Tony Shimkin, son of Golden Records' creator, Arthur Shimkin, works his magic by mixing the recorded music of yesteryear with the new voice talent, which includes:

DIDI CONN -- Frenchy in "Grease" and "Grease 2" does, among other songs, "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf."

CHERYL HINES -- Larry David's wife on "Curb Your Enthusiasm" puts her touch on "The Princess and the Pea."

BUSY PHILIPPS -- The "Freaks and Geeks" and "Dawson's Creek" actress takes on "Cinderella."
