Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds spotted at Truck eatery in Bedford
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds continued to make themselves at home in Bedford this weekend, grabbing a bite at Truck restaurant on Route 22 last night.
A restaurant staffer confirmed the sighting to Newsday Westchester's colleagues at News12 Westchester.
The restaurant is closed Mondays, but this afternoon, in an emailed reply to Newsday Westchester's inquiry about the sighting, an unnamed restaurant staffer wrote, "We are a busy neighborhood restaurant and people come and go frequently!" Hmm.
Regardless, this dish provides some early buzz for Truck (391 Old Post Rd., Bedford, 914-234-8900, www.truckrestaurant.com), which just opened a few months ago at a former truck stop. The menu -- which features tacos, enchiladas and salads -- is inspired by northern New Mexican cuisine, which borrows from "cowboy, Native American and Mexican cultures," according to the restaurant's website.
Reynolds ("The Green Hornet") and Lively ("Gossip Girl") must have worked up an appetite after last week's trip to Disneyland, where they tried to keep a low profile.
The couple has really taken to Bedford and its surrounding areas this year. In addition to buying a home in the affluent community and hitting the gym there, they've indulged at the Bedford Post Inn, treated themselves to King Kone in Somers and stopped by Little Kabab Station in Mount Kisco. It seems like just about the only thing they didn't do there this year is get married, which they did this September, with relative secrecy, in Mount Pleasant, S.C.
