Howard Stern, fashion model Coco Rocha and comedienne Julie Klausner have earned the Hudson Valley Tweets of the Week, which honor Twitter greatness from celebrities with connections to New York City's northern suburbs.

At No. 3 is shock-jock Howard Stern, who kicked off his professional career in Briarcliff Manor and is never shy about offering his opinion. Despite expressing his disappointment Monday with the series finale of "Fringe," co-created by Sarah Lawrence College alumnus J.J. Abrams, Stern was far more excited to learn Abrams would be helming the new "Star Wars" movie.

I agree with Stern that Abrams is an ideal choice for a franchise that, let's face it, downright offended many devout fans of the original "Star Wars" triolgy. And even if "Lost" and "Fringe" didn't answer everyone's questions, Abrams has a better track record with movies, evident from "Super 8" and the 2009 "Star Trek" reboot.
From the self-proclaimed King of All Media to the woman Tyra Banks declared the "Queen of Posing," fashion model Coco Rocha takes the No. 2 spot on this week's countdown. At the end of a week that included an appearance at The Westchester Mall in White Plains, the Hastings-on-Hudson resident takes one leggy step back to consider Twitter as a whole, and the odd exchanges that occur because of it.

I'm one of those cranky old folks exhausted by the proliferation of the term and hashtag #YOLO (which stands for You Only Live Once), but I'm willing to make an exception for Rocha, solely because the juxtaposition of Coco and #YOLO is too funny to dismiss. It's reminiscent of the old bit by North Salem's David Letterman: "Oprah, Uma; Uma, Oprah."
This week's top tweet belongs to comedian Julie Klausner, who grew up in Scarsdale and collaborated with Stern's old buddy, Paul Giamatti, for a Vulture video that allows him to showcase his underappreciated skills as a leading man. (Warning: Said video contains one hilarious expletive and mutliple clothed gyrations, due to re-enacting a scene from "Magic Mike.")

My top takeaway: I think I'd actually have seen the "Twilight" movies if Giamatti and Klausner were top-billed.
