He'll bring 'em some razzle-dazzle: Talk show host Jerry Springer will play legal eagle Billy Flynn in Broadway's "Chicago" from Aug. 18 through Sept. 6, with days off on Aug. 24 and Aug. 31, the show's producers said this week.

Springer appeared in the London production of the Kander and Ebb musical earlier this summer and is being advertised as Billy in the Atlanta and Philadelphia stops on the national tour in September.

The host of "The Jerry Springer Show" - which begot "Jerry Springer: The Opera" - is a political pundit, attorney, former newscaster and one-time mayor of Cincinnati. He has hosted "America's Got Talent" and was a contestant on "Dancing With the Stars."

"Dancing" co-host Samantha Harris is starring as Roxie Hart on Broadway through Aug. 16 and will be replaced Aug. 17 by Bianca Marroquin. "Chicago" plays the Ambassador Theatre, located at 219 W. 49th St.
