Jesse James, whose infidelity scandal destroyed his nearly five-year marriage to Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock, is selling the California beachfront house in which they lived, according to two unnamed sources in People magazine. He may be relocating to Austin, Texas - where Bullock, a Virginian raised in that state and in Germany, has made herself a longtime second home.

The 45-year-old best actress Academy Award winner moved out of her and James' Orange County home two months ago, taking with her her newly adopted infant, Louis.

James will tell his side of the story in an interview with ABC correspondent Vicki Mabrey airing Tuesday on "Nightline" (Ch. 7 at 11:35 p.m.). The interview will address his reported infidelity, his trip to rehab and what role he will play in Louis' life.

James, 41, has already made an offer on a house in Austin, where he owns the custom-car company Austin Speed Shop, the magazine says. He was spotted in Austin on May 14 with his daughter Chandler, 15.

Bullock, who herself owns the restaurant Bess Bistro in the city, was reportedly in Austin as well, separately, during that time. One of People's sources said the proximity might be related to James' hope for a reconciliation. "His mind-set is the same as [it was after the split]," the person said, "and Jesse feels that as time goes by, his and Sandra's relationship has still not reached the final chapter. He is not giving up hope that Sandra will come back to her family."
