June Shannon -- aka Mama June on TLC's "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" -- says she has lost 102 pounds since the rural reality hit began taping in January 2011.

"I haven't done any surgeries . . . no diet pills . . . never went to the gym," the 33-year-old mother of pint-size pageant kid Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson told TMZ.com Wednesday. "But with the show I've been more active," she explained, telling the website she went from 365 pounds to 263.

"They have me running around and going different places," she said of the show's production and travel requirements. "I guess it's paying off."

Shannon also dyed her graying hair blond in the belated Honey Boo Boo Halloween special that aired last month.

The health of the generally overweight McIntyre, Ga., family -- Shannon; partner Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson; Alana and older sisters Anna ("Chickadee"), Jessica ("Chubbs") and Lauryn ("Pumpkin") -- has been a topic of public discourse because of dietary fare such as "go-go juice" (Red Bull and Mountain Dew) and "sketty" (spaghetti with heavy dollops of microwaved ketchup and butter or margarine).
