Pop star Justin Bieber was wrestled to the ground in a fistfight Wednesday night in Cleveland, outside what WJW-TV identified as The Westin hotel.

TMZ.com on Thursday posted a 23-second cellphone video shot a few feet away from behind glass doors, showing Bieber, 22, arguing with a large, bald, African-American man. Bieber pokes the man, the man reaches toward the left side of Bieber’s head, and Bieber twists away and throws a punch. A melee ensues, ending with the man dragging Bieber easily to the sidewalk. The remainder of the video is mostly obstructed.

Bieber posted a black-and-white selfie, presumably shot afterward, showing no visible cuts or bruises.

Some reports claimed Bieber also posted a second selfie on his Instagram page with the comment “Not a scratch on this pretty boy,” but if so, both the image and the statement have since been deleted.

WJW said the singer was in Cleveland for Game 3 of the NBA Finals at Quicken Loans Arena, and that police were not called to the scene of the fight.
