Oscar and Emmy Award-winner Kate Winslet and her husband, Ned Rocknroll, welcomed their first child, a son, on Saturday, the actress' representative told E! News Tuesday.

The infant, whose name was not released, was born at a National Health Service hospital in Sussex County, England, and "baby and mother are doing great," the rep said.

This is the first child for the couple, who married last December. The twice-divorced Winslet has a daughter, Mia, with her first husband, director Jim Threapleton, and a son, Joe, with her second husband, director Sam Mendes. Rocknroll, born Ned Abel Smith, was married for two years to British socialite Eliza Pearson, amicably divorcing in 2011.
