Among those attending were Blackstock's children from a previous marriage, son Seth, 6, and daughter Savannah, 12. However, the groom's stepmother, country-music star Reba McEntire, was committed to a concert in Halifax, Nova Scotia, E! News said.

Clarkson, 31, wore a floor-length Temperley London gown with lace sleeves. "Thanks, Temperley, for my beautiful dress," the bride tweeted. "Thank you to my friends Jim Verraros and Maria Elena for the beautiful headpiece!"

E! said Clarkson and Blackstock personally obtained their marriage license last Tuesday in Sumner County, Tenn., which covers suburban Nashville where the couple live. The Blackberry Farm resort hotel is in Walland, about three hours east.

Blackstock -- the son of Clarkson's manager, Narvel Blackstock, who is married to McEntire -- proposed in December after he and Clarkson had been together a year. They met at a rehearsal for the American Country Music Awards seven years ago, Clarkson told People magazine in February.
