In the wake of her separation from husband Shane Deary, Keri Russell may be dating Matthew Rhys, her co-star on the FX series "The Americans."
People magazine said Thursday that Russell, 37, and Welsh actor Rhys, 39, were seen strolling together and shopping in her Brooklyn Heights neighborhood a few days before Christmas, appearing to be a couple. Representatives for the stars of the drama, about deep-undercover Soviet spies living as Washington, D.C., suburbanites in the early 1980s, have not commented.
Russell and her contractor husband have been amicably separated since summer, the actress' rep said earlier this month. The couple, who married on Valentine's Day 2007, have a son, River, 6, and a daughter, Willa, who turns 2 Friday. This was the actress' first marriage. Russell had dated Tony Lucca, a fellow star of Disney Channel's "The New Mickey Mouse Club," throughout most of the 1990s, and her "Felicity" co-star, Scott Speedman, for a time during the run of that 1998-2002 WB show.
Rhys -- who plays Mr. Darcy in the current BBC miniseries adaptation of "Death Comes to Pemberley," a "Pride And Prejudice" sequel by novelist P.D. James -- had briefly dated actress Sienna Miller, his co-star in the 2008 film "The Edge of Love."
Season two of "The Americans" is scheduled to premiere Feb. 26. The first season comes to DVD and Blu-ray on Jan. 14.
