Designer Tom Ford ditched a traditional runway show and instead presented his Spring 2016 collection by way of a "Soul Train"-inspired model dance party video starring Lady Gaga.

"Instead of having a traditional show this season, I decided to try something new," said Ford on his website.   "I wanted to think about how to present a collection in a cinematic way that was designed from its inception to be presented online."

The music video, shot in Los Angeles and released Oct. 2 runs about 3 ½ minutes and is an all-out raucous dance party with intermittent snippets of a hair-whipping, high-strutting, booty-flashing, runway-crawling Gaga in the mix.  Photographer Nick Knight directed it, and Gaga adds her distinctive vocals to the Nile Rodgers' remake of his hit "I Want Your Love."

Said Ford, "I have always loved 'Soul Train' ... as it was as much about the clothes as the music."

And what of the clothes?  Sensual, sexy and glamorous; lots of short hemlines with some heavy-duty colorful embellishment along with saucy nude illusion insets.  As for Gaga, she looked fab, though she wasn't wearing all that much.
