Former NBA player Lamar Odom conceded that he encountered his soon-to-be ex-wife, reality TV star Khloé Kardashian, on Wednesday, but denies he ambushed her and suggested they had planned to meet.

"I live in Las Vegas," Odom, 35, tells a TMZ.com cameraman in a video posted Thursday, asking him, "Did I just guess right?" about where Kardashian, of E!'s "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," would be. Later in the video he says, "You know I know Khloé, right? You know I know her, right? So how would you think I ended up there?" When the cameraman responds, "I would think that there was some communication between you two," Odom replies, "OK, then."

TMZ on Wednesday had run a photo of what it said was Odom near Kardashian, 31, outside the fitness center SoulCycle in Beverly Hills. The site said that according to witnesses, Odom demanded she speak with him, and at one point touched her arm, whereupon she screamed at him to stop. After Kardashian yelled, "How did you know I was here?" and Odom did not give a clear answer, she rushed to her car and drove off, the site said.

"Nobody got followed, nobody got hassled, nobody got harassed, nobody got grabbed on, none of that," Odom told TMZ on the video posted Thursday.

"It's hard for me to keep my composure," he says elsewhere in the clip. "To everybody that I know and that supports me, I'm sorry, but . . . the dog has to bite back." Addressing the cameraman, he says, "Y'all won, y'all beat me down, degraded me, said . . . I'm a womanizer . . . drug addict, everything. . . . I probably couldn't even get [expletive] hired by Home Depot right now because of how people look at me. It's over," he says, adding without specifics, "If it happens again, I will air everything out."

Representatives for Kardashian did not respond to requests for comment.
